Research
Find out what your users really need
We talk to your users, watch them work and dig into the data. So you can decide what to build, fix or drop based on what people actually do, not on assumptions.
- Real users, real context
- Insights you can act on
- Careful with personal data

When research helps
Start with the question, not the method
Most research starts with a gut feeling that something isn't working. We help turn that feeling into a sharp question, then find the quickest reliable way to answer it.
- Marketing lead
Why do people drop out of our sign-up or checkout?
- Product owner
Which features matter most to our users?
- Founder
Will our new concept make sense before we build it?
- Compliance officer
Can everyone use our product, including people with a disability?
- Customer success
How do people really use our platform day to day?
- Developer
Where is our application slow, and where does it hurt?
Great questions. Let's find out together.

Methods matched to your question
We combine listening, observing and measuring. What people say, what they do and what the data shows together give the full picture.

User interviews
Conversations with your users about their work, goals and frustrations.

Usability testing
Watching people use your product to see where they get stuck.

Workshops & co-creation
Users, stakeholders and your team aligned around one wall of sticky notes.

Data analysis
Analytics, click maps and funnels that show where users struggle.

Expert review & accessibility
Senior designers check usability and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.

Performance analysis
Load times and errors measured on real devices, traced to the cause.
What you take away
Insights you can act on next week
No thick reports that end up in a drawer. You get a clear story of what we learned, what it means and what to do next, in a format your team actually uses.

Key findings, prioritised
What we saw, how often it happened and how much it matters, ranked by impact.
Video clips and quotes
Short fragments of real users that make the problem tangible for everyone, from developers to management.
Journeys and personas
Visual maps of how people move through your service, including the moments where it goes wrong.
Concrete recommendations
Design directions and quick wins, often with a first sketch or prototype of the solution.
A results session with your team
We walk through the findings together, answer questions and agree on the next steps.
You work directly with Ruben, who leads every session.
We would rather show you five real users struggling with one button than write fifty pages about it.
Care for participants
Careful with people and their data
Research only works when participants feel safe to be honest. We treat their time, their stories and their data with respect, and design every study with the GDPR in mind.
Before every study we agree with you what data we collect, where it is stored and when it is deleted.
Informed consent
Participants know what we research, how recordings are used and that they can stop at any moment.
Anonymised findings
Reports and clips never contain more personal information than needed to tell the story.
Stored within the EU
Recordings and notes are stored on European infrastructure with controlled access.
Deleted when done
Raw recordings are deleted after an agreed period, so nothing is kept longer than necessary.
Our process
From gut feeling to clear decisions
Every study follows the same rhythm, scaled to your question. A focused test can be done within a few weeks; larger studies run alongside your product development.
Frame the question
Together we sharpen what you want to learn and which decisions depend on it.
Plan & recruit
We choose the right methods and find participants who match your real users.
Research
We run the interviews, tests, workshops or analyses, and invite your team to watch along.
Make sense
We cluster observations into patterns and translate them into clear findings.
Act on it
We share the results, prioritise next steps and can help design and build the solution.
Start with your question
What do you want to learn about your users?
Choose what comes closest. We will ask a few focused questions and suggest the lightest way to get a reliable answer.

FAQ
Questions about user research
How many participants do we need?
For usability tests, five to eight participants per user group usually reveal the most important issues. Interviews often need six to ten conversations before clear patterns emerge. Data analyses use your existing data, so no recruitment is involved.
How long does a research project take?
An expert review or a small usability test can be done in one to three weeks. Larger studies with several methods or user groups usually take four to eight weeks. We plan it so the insights arrive before the decisions they need to inform.
What does user research cost?
That depends on the methods, the number of participants and how specific your target audience is. After a short intake we send a clear proposal with a fixed scope and price, so you know where you stand before we start.
Who recruits the participants?
We can recruit participants through our network or a recruitment panel, or work with your own customers and employees. We take care of scheduling, consent forms and incentives.
Do you research on location or online?
Both. On location works best when context matters, such as a warehouse, a clinic or a reception desk. Online sessions make it easy to reach people across the country. Often we combine the two.
Can our team join the sessions?
Yes, and we recommend it. Seeing a user struggle first-hand is more convincing than any report. Colleagues can watch along live or afterwards, without disturbing the participant.
How do you handle privacy and the GDPR?
Participants give informed consent, findings are anonymised, and recordings are stored securely within the EU and deleted after an agreed period. If needed, we sign a data processing agreement with you.
