FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you start?

We can usually start an intake, UX scan or first sprint within one to two weeks. If there is urgency, we look at what can happen sooner without weakening the start.

For how long can I hire a UX designer?

It can be short and focused, for example for a review or prototype, or several months as an extension of your product team.

What is the difference between a UX designer, UI designer and product designer?

UX is about structure, behavior and usability. UI is about the visual layer. A product designer often combines both and also thinks about goals, priority and product direction. At Bootmine these disciplines intentionally stay close together.

Can you also build the design?

Yes. Bootmine has UX designers, front-end developers and back-end developers in one team. We can design only, work with your own developers or build the full product.

What does it cost to hire a UX designer?

That depends on duration, seniority and desired capacity. After a short introduction we provide a concrete proposal with clear scope, rate and planning.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Both. Much of the work is done remotely and efficiently, but for workshops, kick-offs and stakeholder moments we are happy to join on site.
