Software Developer

As a Software Developer at Bootmine, you will develop software and web applications for our clients. Together with the client and a project manager, you will come up with the best creative solutions and contribute to the development of innovative websites, web shops, web apps, and SaaS solutions.

Who are you?

You are a full-stack software developer who can set up a new digital product from start to finish. Therefore, you have knowledge of both back-end and front-end technologies. You are aware of the latest developments and you know how to make choices about which technology best fits the customer's task. You work closely with the UX designer to convert a design into a working app as effectively as possible and share your knowledge with colleagues.

What do we expect?

• You have 2 to 3 years of proven experience with both front-end and back-end.
• You can accurately translate a responsive design into functional components and CSS.
• You can show your experience with javascript frameworks like React/Vue/Angular and are able to style components with BEM/SCSS or Tailwind.
• You have experience with PHP, Laravel, Python and/or Node back-end frameworks and can demonstrate this. You are able to set up a database in MongoDB or MySQL.
• You can easily and quickly set up a REST API connection.
• You think carefully about the technical requirements of a project, can advise our team and client on this and are able to defend your choices in Dutch and English.
• Pre: You have in-depth knowledge and experience in Python
• Pre: You have knowledge of docker and various deployment techniques.
• Pre: You have knowledge of unit/e2e testing and can demonstrate your experience in this.
• Pre: You have in-house knowledge about deployment pipelines, setting them up and integrating them into an existing codebase.
